What hours do the Ultimate Male clinics keep?
Ultimate Male publishes weekday hours only, and the two clinics work differently.
| Clinic | Address | Posted hours |
|---|---|---|
| San Gabriel | 360 E Las Tunas Dr, Ste 204, San Gabriel, CA 91776 | Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM |
| Downey | 10403 Lakewood Blvd, Downey, CA 90241 | By appointment |
No evening or weekend hours are published at either clinic. Downey’s by-appointment model is the place to ask about times outside a standard slot, but the clinic has not posted what those can be, so confirm on the phone at 626-319-5261 rather than assuming. The San Gabriel and Downey location pages carry the current details.
Can I get a testosterone draw before work?
That depends on which clinic and how early your workday starts. MedlinePlus explains that testosterone samples are taken in the morning, between 7 and 10, because levels are usually highest then. The Endocrine Society likewise asks for at least two early-morning tests, between 7 and 10 AM, before calling testosterone low.
San Gabriel’s posted hours begin at 10 AM, the end of that window. If you need a draw before then, ask whether Downey can see you earlier. If a 10 AM draw is your only option, raise it with your provider, especially if a result lands near the cutoff. Our page on morning testosterone test timing explains why the clock matters.
Men who work nights face a different problem, because their “morning” is not at 7 AM. Our page for night shift workers covers how timing is handled when your sleep is upside down.
Which visits fit around a working day?
Not every appointment needs the same amount of time, so the scheduling problem is smaller than it looks.
- Blood draws are short. MedlinePlus says the draw usually takes less than five minutes.
- The results consultation is the longest sit-down. A late-afternoon slot at San Gabriel, which closes at 6 PM, can work for men leaving work early.
- Follow-up reviews may not all need a trip. Ask which ones can be done remotely; our answer on telehealth follow-ups explains which usually can.
- Injections do not have to happen at the clinic. Our comparison of TRT injections at home and in clinic covers the trade-offs.
How does online booking show open times?
The booking page lists the appointment times currently open, so you can see what is available before calling. If nothing suits you, especially at Downey where visits are arranged by appointment, call the clinic instead of giving up on the online calendar.
When you book a lab draw, choose the earliest morning slot you can manage, and note it on your calendar along with any fasting instructions from the free call.
Related question: can a busy schedule keep up with TRT monitoring?
Usually, yes, because routine monitoring is spaced out. The AUA guideline recommends checking testosterone every 6 to 12 months once treatment is underway, with hematocrit on a similar schedule, so after the first months most of the calendar is a few short draws a year.
The first few months are busier, with a consultation, an early recheck and possibly a dose change. Our answer on how many visits TRT takes in the first year counts them, and our page for busy executives shows how testing and visits can be grouped to cut down on trips.
Booking around your week at Ultimate Male
Start with the free 10-minute call and tell the person on the line which days and times you can actually make. They can match you to San Gabriel’s Tuesday, Thursday or Friday hours or ask what Downey has open.
Draws are done on site at both clinics with results in 24 to 48 hours, and your consultation is one-on-one with a PA-C or MD. If the timing works, testosterone therapy can be planned around your job rather than the other way around.
